Let’s talk about herbs. About the ones you like and the ones you don’t. About fresh and dried. About using them in combinations and on foods that most wouldn’t think to use them in and on. About local ones that the rest of the world might not know about. Even medicinal uses and such. Feel free to throw edible flowers…
I wanted to take some edge off (I’m in Europeland and it’s pretty on edge atm) but I still have to sit here at work for awhile so I thought I’d delight you with some pretty images from the Maavalla Sacred Natural Sites Photo Contest that just closed yesterday.
All the winning entries here. Last year’s winning entries…
To all our pagan members and friends: as the veil between worlds thins, may all your encounters be good ones.
our longest night is here! :D
Whether you call it Halloween, All Hallows Eve, Samhain (pronounced a bit like sewin'), or tomorrow's All Souls Day is more your speed, and even if you believe tomorrow is All Saints Day and All Souls Day is November 2nd, many cultures and religions believe that tonight is the time when the veil between the worlds is…
Hello my pagan friends! Let's talk.
A pagan sect(not named deliberately) made up mostly of chaos(black, balanced, primal, primordial, and whatever your religion says it is) magic practitioners. The kind that you would be justified in burning or swallowing in the earth(for the uninitiated this was being buried alive).
Today for kinja user Hotfreypie's birthday, I thought a tarot card reading would be a great long distance gift! I had never tried giving a tarot card reading long distance before, but I think it actually worked!
I totally tried to do a teaser from my phone on Sunday evening but no luck. I have to go to bed now, so this will be short to start with.
It's the magic of Kinja! I had another Spell-Caster reply to a two-year-old comment a few days ago. Discourse: ELEVATED.
I hate getting up in the morning, and I always feel grouchy. I woke up super content and did a whole bunch of stuff that I usually have to force myself to do, like unloading the dishwasher. About midway through I realized that I had cast a sigil that "I will wake up happy and productive."I'm freaking out, man.
For a long time I loved the idea of a pantheon of gods - having a god for each aspect of reality seemed kind of cool. But my atheist and Christian periods kind of put an end to that.
Roguery? Treason, DESPAIR? Anyone got any advice while I go drink myself into oblivion about my hopeless life? Great! thanks for letting me know. Do your online tarot card reading here.
Hey my witchy friends!
So I have made no secret about being a jaded former pagan. I was raised with it, so once I got older and independent I made a show of not practising. I really miss it though. I feel like I have kind of let go of little bits of myself and my spirituality was a big part of that. There's a longer,…
I love collecting tarot decks. I've been reading cards for about fourteen years now, but I just recently started collecting decks for the hell of it.
I have really really really tried to figure out sigil magick and I'm utterly clueless. I've heard you have to know your will, but avoid the word "will." I've heard you have to forget the meaning of the sigil, but how do you do that?
